Illustrate Special Days

In 2024, I've selected several 'special' days to illustrate. This personal challenge focuses on creating meaningful art for various causes and allows me to thoughtfully plan each piece. Instead of rushing, I'm taking a slower, more deliberate approach to foster creativity and produce more thoughtful and relevant artwork.

Inktober 2023

Inktober is a super fun visual art challenge on Instagram that encourages people to dive into the traditional medium of pen and ink. Every day in October, artists from all over the world follow a new word prompt. The resulting creations are usually in black and white and often attract a lot of tattoo artists, which might explain the dramatic and fantastical themes.

As a children’s book illustrator, I love putting a silly and whimsical spin on these prompts. I hope you enjoy my playful take on them!

Dogs

I challenged myself to draw an array of different dog breeds. It was difficult to know where to stop. They are available on t.shirts and other stuff with Redbubble.
