It's been an eventful couple of weeks. I set myself some mad projects and seem to have miraculously come through it. I've been promising to decorate the middle child's bedroom for quite a while as she chose the powdery purple colour on the walls when she was four. Never let a four year old choose their wall colour. So here it is, much more suited to a twelve year old.20151006_095220   20151006_095206And of course there's been cake making. My first attempt at shaping a cake and covering it in fondant. And it tasted great too!20150930_185555  20150930_185604  20150930_21043420151001_17532420151001_175357-1We've had tragedy as well with yet another fox attack. RIP Bonny, Cilla and Annie. Not sure if we can handle any more sadness, so we're holding off on getting more chickens for a while. I really miss visiting them twice a day and hearing their happy clucking noises.Screenshot_2015-08-03-20-52-26On a happier note. I went to this exhibition opening with my very talented friend, Jaquie Karney, who had painted my portrait. The exhibition is a portrait prize run by The Oak Hill Gallery in Mornington running at the same time as the Archibald Prize which has previously been held at the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery.  But it looks like it's in Ballarat  this year.20151004_144948So it's back to drawing now!
