Tomorrow is the publication day for this lovely picture book celebrating some of the heroes of the catastrophic bush fires that took place in Australia early in 2020. I'm really proud to have illustrated this book, especially as it's so local. It was a super fast deadline but fortunately there were no compromises and the final book design was gorgeous. It's published by Australian Geographic. Next week I'll travel to the Gippsland forest to celebrate with a book launch at Nowa Nowa General Store. Here's a sneak-peek at some of the illustrations.
